My other hobby besides WoW is table top gaming, my current favorite being Dungeons & Dragons 4th Edition. In an effort to play more often I have started a new group using Wizard of the Coast’s new community features on their website.
The Virtual Table Top Gaming Group is dedicated to not only helping you find a table top RP game to play online but to help build a strong and reliable community of people to play with again and again. Something I think is sorely lacking in the online world right now.
You can set up a game using any system (even non-WoTC games) and use any method to play online you like (i.e. Fantasy Grounds II, Maptools, chat system, whatever). There are also forums dedicated to the community and campaign or character journals as there will be blogs on the topic of gaming on a Virtual Table Top.
It’s a brand new, very young community. But sign up and join and hopefully we’ll be a booming community in the near future helping gamers everywhere get their game on.
